Ok for what it is I think a lot of guests are there for A JFK flight, so they don’t drive. I happened to stay there on a family visit, so I drove there and, surprisingly the hotel doesn’t have a parking lot. The neighborhood felt a little sketchy for parking on the street. In spite of the hotel’s relative proximity to both a subway and some busy roads, the room was pretty quiet. It’s perfectly fine for an overnight stay, but not a destination.
Good I didnt like that there was no complimentary bottle of water and the coffee brewer was dirty. The simplicity and overall cleanliness.
Nice staycationing with la quinta Unfortunately the elevator was out of service. The accommodations where good. The staff are helpful.
Good Neighborhood is similar to the flatlands of Oakland & Berkeley. Probably ok once you get to know it but unsure as we were there only one night. The property is located a long distance from JFK—30+minute shuttle ride—even though it is next door to the airport. You need to account for this time in your travel planning.
