Value for money
Awesome Hotel next to a huge pond
We had a late flight arrival and stayed one night. Since we arrived late we called to let them know and they noted it in our reservation. Check in was quick. The room was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. The property is pretty. The pool is in front of the lake and the landscape has a tropical feel.
I chose this property last minute due to a flight change. Some of the reviews were not positive but I can tell you that we had friendly staff. The rooms were nice and clean. Yes they could be updated but that was not a priority for me. The exterior was nice. Sat on the patio to eat breakfast. Enjoyable. Breakfast was limited but that was not a big deal. Great place to stay before a cruise.

Showing its age. This La Quinta is showing its age. There are two La Quintas in the Fort Lauderdale area and we were directed to the wrong one by Google maps. The position of this one is also incorrect in Apple Maps. The location is quite and beautiful, but an update is sorely needed.
