I thought the food and ambience was excellent. Waiter Alex was attentive, helpful, introduced himself though he did not know the wine list and the wine specialist was off on Mother's Day. It was more expensive than I had expected. My husband however was disappointed with three things: the table across from the kitchen was noisy and the table wobbled. Once we were seated, we were very impressed with the waiter, who was very informative and willing to answer questions about the food, etc., and the food was very good. However, our reservations were mismanaged, and our table was given away to someone else, even though we arrived and checked in 15 minutes prior to our reservation time, as well as confirming the reservation through the Eldorado earlier in the afternoon. I would recommend the veal marsala so flavorful melts in your mouth, my wife had the salmon very tasty she loved it, our compliments to the chef, we will definitely be stopping buy for dinner on our next Tahoe Reno trip at this wonderful restaurant, thank you Gino, and the Eldorado for this great experience.

We ate at La Strada before seeing Cirque Paris in their theater. It was wonderful - big city dining in a small city. We are so lucky to have Eldorado restaurants and theater available to us! First place that comes to mind when we want to go out.
We had heard many great things about La Strada, great food and atmosphere, wine list and more all is true a great dining experience.
