Michael made experience great as soon as we walked in. He was awesome. He recommended a dish which we got and it was so good just like he said it would be.
LA STRADA CONTINUES TO BE THE BEST. FOOD IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. SERVICE IS IMPESSABLE ESPECIALLY CHRIS.
Had a great meal and the service was outstanding. The only complaint I would say is don't allow reservations for a time 5 min before the kitchen closes made us feel a little rushed.
Wonderful dinner with my husband 2 daughters son-in-law and 3 grand kids. Food was fantastic, service incomparable, and the birthday song was something I've never had before! Staff was great with the 2 6 year olds and 8 year old, suggesting and accommodating their food tastes with patience and humor. My husband daughter and son-in-law had the "tasting menu" and were beyond pleased with it. In all the years I have been to the El Dorado, I have always had a remarkable experience. A true get away dining experience. The Only place I truly recommend to all who ask. They know what dining is! I am a chef and this is chefing in every respect.
went for new year's eve dining. price fix menu looked good on website.when we got there the menu had changed. then we decided to order one of the price fix meals and a regular meal but were told we couldn't because we had to both order the special menu. however, it didn't say that on the menu. I was bothered. then the waiter brought us a special appetizer to apologize for the confusion. the food is always excellent.
We had out of town visitors, we knew where to take them for good Italian. Food, service and staff always deliver to our high level of expectations. Our visitors have called us twice to thank us for taking them to LaStrada. Cudos to Michael (maitre de) and Monica (hostess) for making us feel like part of their family.
The El Dorado never lets me down when I have guests and take them there to dine. La Strada can be as quiet and romantic as you would desire or can be a great place to take the family, which makes it unique. The food is always tasty and presented beautifully.
