We've eaten at LaStrada a number of time and are never disappointed. Food is very good and the wait staff outstanding. We had a standard Italian dinner - tomato soup and salad and chicken parm and veal chops for entre's. Served with bread which is always excellent. Restaurant is relatively quiet and very comfortable seating in a number of smaller rooms. The chicken parm came with vegetable and polenta. La Strada is one of the classiest expensive restaurants in Reno. I've lived in Reno since 1964 so I've been to almost all of them over the years. This was the first time that I was not someone's guest at La Strada so I never experienced the impact of seeing a Bill. It was our Christmas dinner, so it felt okay to splurge but was still shocking to see the prices on the menu. My brother said that Reno restaurants are much less expensive than those in the Bay Area. The bruschetta that we ordered was bland, the veal with mushrooms was not a good value. And the Cesar salad was small and typical for a casino restaurant, overpriced .
La Strada is a long time favorite. We have never had a bad meal here. Ravioli and veal entrees are outstanding.

Post show dinner with wife, son and future daughter-in-law. Great, quiet atmosphere, excellent service, selection, and best Italian dinner in memory. Everyone was impressed. Now my go-to spot for entertaining visiting guests.

I live 250 miles away but when I go to Reno I want to go to LaStrada. The owner was there when we went this time. He pointed out that La Strada means the street and that the ceiling is like the night sky, black with twinkling stars. I had never loked up before.
