Excellent food. Favorite was the home made mushroom ravioli. The gnocchi was also very good. Can't say enough about the service. Extremely attentive without being overbearing. Wish there were more outstanding restaurants like this in Reno.
Suprisingly good calamari, mushroom ravioli, veal picatta, osso buco. The only letdown was the risotto with the osso buco was undercooked.
I thought the food was outstanding. However, I was disappointed that they did not offer gluten free pasta. Therefore I could not have any of the pasta dishes. Italian is my favorite food and I often go to Italian restaurants. Most really good Italian restaurants do offer gluten free pasta to their customers. I would have really enjoyed trying one of their pasta dishes.
Due to a health inspection our reservation was NOT on time. We had to wait. The food service was extremely slow. I think a free drink or appetizer would have been appropriate for the delays.
Very good Italian specialties. Service was right on - did not rush us. Friendly atmosphere.
This place is great as usual! Our waiter, Christopher, was very knowledgeable and professional. The food was outstanding, and prepared exactly as ordered. Wine list is very complete, and desert offerings are extensive. The floor manager, Amanda, was attentive as was our hostess, Monica. Highly suggest any of the veal or seafood dishes.
We had a late flight and were going to a show after dinner. We needed to be in and out in 1 hour and the staff made a point to take care of us and make our play. We all were very impressed with our dinner and the staff.
The service and food at La Strada were phenomenal! The restaurant has a great ambiance and we truly enjoyed ourselves, definitely one of, if not the best meal we had in Reno during our stay. I would highly recommend this to anyone traveling to Reno and looking for a great Italian meal.
Wonderful. Everything about La Strada was on point. The service, food and overall experience put it in the top five places I’ve ever been. Hands down the best tiramisu I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a few. Five stars!
