Great food and service. Priced competitively for Friday night. Loud group of about 5 old guys were seated behind us; they probably had a few drinks. They came in about when our desert was being served. Everything was great until then. Had chiefs special with wine pairing and it was excellent food. Waiter was very good. We were seated at about 5 p.m. and left about 7 p.m.; it was just about full when we left.
Went here to celebrate a birthday, and to eat before seeing a show at the Reno Ballroom. Food was very good. We had mushroom ravioli for appetizer - yum! Entrees were good. Enjoyed Affogaddo (sp?) for dessert. It is a upbeat place, nice staff. Can get a little noisy, but didn't disrupt our conversation. One of our favorite restaurants.
Excellent meal, we took friends there for their first time. The selection of entrees is one of the best. I usually have Osobuco, but this time I had the Veal Saltimbooca, excellent choice. Superb wine list. We all agreed that this is the place to take friends and family for a great evening and an excellent taste of the Reno Cuisine.
Our meals were awesome and so was our service! I had the chicken Parmesan and my wife had the delicious New York Steak - both of us had coffee and it was super nice and hot!

Outstanding and consistent food and service. The Veal Piccata outshines every other Italian restaurant that we have frequented. The staff is exceptionally friendly.
My husband and I enjoyed a delicious dinner, starting with fried calamari and caesar salad followed by pasta Carbonara and Seafood linguini, with Cannoli's for dessert with espresso. Nice wine and cocktails accompanied the meal. The parmesan breadsticks are delicious, too.
We were in the mood for some great Italian food & some fun. We drove all the way from Grass Valley just to have dinner at La Strada. The food was delicious & our waiter could not have been more accommodating. Two of us had specific requests to make changes to meals and the waiter & chef gladly made them. Everything was done to perfection I would definitely recommend La Strada!
Our waiter, Tony, is a local boy who is very knowledgeable about the restaurant and the food, and about the area. We had a great time talking to him about Reno and how it has changed over the years. We had the lasagna and the mushroom ravioli, which were both excellent. After-dinner cappuccinos were delicious, smooth, and frothy. I recommend La Strada to anyone who doesn't mind spending good money (it's not cheap) on good food.
