Food was awsome. Service was outstanding. I would make another trip to Reno just to eat there.
We went to La Strada as part of Eldorado's "Big Night Out," which involves buying a full price ticket for a show, entitling each ticket holder half off an entree at any restaurant at the casino. We started out with a combination of mushroom ravioli and shrimp wrapped in prosciutto. The combination plate of the 2 popular starters was not on the menu, but suggested by the waiter. Outstanding is the only word that applies. La Strada is one of the best , if not the best Italian restaurant on the entire west coast. Fresh , incredibly tasty food and impeccable service make this a must dining place. I have eaten here several times and it actually seems to be even better each time. Bravo !
This is my fourth visit. La Strada never fails to please. The food is delicious (Caprese to start; and main course, Gnocchi Bolognese and lasagna), and they are committed to excellent customer service! We were late for our Res. and needed quick turnaround for concert. Hostess was welcoming, our server Hannah was very professional and efficient yet friendly. We dined at La Strada on a very busy evening, but it was still outstanding! The food was wonderful and our service was excellent!
Knocking it down a few stars on the service only because they didn't do anything special for celebrating our 20th anniversary. It was in their notes, but not sure where the miscommunication was. Other than that....it was a tasty meal and pleasant atmosphere.
We did the early bird dinner before a show and would highly recommend the restaurant for it's excellent food, wine and service. Also, the shows we have attended have been great! Forgot to add that Open Table was also great and easy to use.
Really enjoyed our meal at La Strada. The prices for the food (and the wine) were very reasonable for the quality.
Food and service are/were excellent. It's too bad it's in downtown Reno but it's worth putting up with being downtown Reno.
