La Strada is a long time Reno favorite. The food and service are always outstanding. La Strada is also a bargain in our view. Excellent resonable wine list.
We went to La Strada after seeing the Zoppe Circus, which was wonderful. Whe we arrived at La Strada, the receptionist was very warm and friendly, she took us to our seats immediately. The server, James, was very prompt and introduced himself with a welcome to us. He is an outstanding waiter...although with his UNR degrees he should move up!!! Food and service is always top quality!
This is a wonderful restaurant with a fabulous Italian menu. La Strada also features a fabulous wine list. The service is outstanding.
My food Veal Ossobuca was very good, but my wife's fettuccini alfredo tasted good, but was a bit dry. We have eaten here several times in the past few years, but the last few have not been up to par for previous visits ( used to be outstanding for food)
Incredible food. Only slightly over zealous waiter, "selling" the appetizers, desserts, wines, specials. Following a script, it seemed.
i would have to say that we were mildly disappointed with la strada. only because there were so many 5 star reviews, for the food. while the food was certainly good, it was not an over the top experience ie "one of the 10 best italian restaurants in the u.s.", hardly in our opinion. either most of the other reviewers dont get out to truly excellent restaurants that often, or they confuse great service with the fare. the service was excellent, even in view of the fact it was quite busy, saturday night, etc. our server, tony, ... read more
As always, La Strada has great wine, food, and service.
Food great. They need to work on timing and communicate with each other. One example - we receive our drink order twice from 2 people, then waiter seemed annoy after it happened and took one away saying he didn't know why it came because it went to the wrong table. Yea I'm sure someone else ordered the exact same thing as we did.
