I've eaten at La Strada several times, and it's always been very good. My favorite server is Matt (or "Mateo" to keep with the Italian influence), and he's the best!
We took a friend and his wife to dinner for his birthday. The food was excellent as well as the service. they even brought our friend a special dessert and sang happy birthday in Italian.

We had a party of 10 and our seating location was good - somewhat quiet so we could converse without raising voices. The food was wonderful with unique items like kangaroo, etc. The service was exceptional - we had a few dietary restrictions and the restaurant delivered perfectly. Overall an outstanding experience.
We went for New Years Eve and found it to be just the right place. Good ambiance, good service, and good food. The waiter was very helpful in directing us to the right courses. Prices were what I expected them to be - a bit pricey but not too bad. The only negative to our experience was that the food took 45 minutes to come to the table. Our waiter attributed it to a "miscommunication" - with whom I'm not sure. Overall we had a really nice meal in a comfortable, festive, and romantic atmosphere.
We went for New Year's Eve there were five of us. The server was pretty good. He was a little off a couple of times, but he had a great attitude. The food was good. Two in our party had the chefs special menu, they both liked it! I had the fettuccini Akfreado, it was good. But I have had better.all in all we had a great time!
La Strada is a very solid Italian restaurant (and my favorite one in the US) where every dish tastes like it was home made. Can't wait to go back.
