This is our third time at this restaurant. The surprise is it is at the Eldorado casino in Reno. Usually these places are fair and/or pretentious. The food and the service were first rate. The prices were not cheap, but they weren't outrageous either. The restaurant and the hotel are owned by a winery so while the wine list was deep, it wasn't very wide ie no other labels other than their own. The wines, according to my wife, were very good. We had the Chef's Surprise dinner, and had good portions of several pastas and entrees. Our surprise included three pastas and a filet mignon/salmon entree plate. Everything was very fresh and high quality. The bar was a delight, with fresh tomatos in the Bloody Marys. We will definitely go again.
Food, service and ambiance was first class.
This restaurant was recommended as a great place for a "second date" romantic dinner and it did not disappoint. The service and the food and wine were excellent. We will return.
The menu offered a variety of choices and was priced reasonably. The mushroom ravioli appears to be their signature dish and is excellent. The butter lettuce salad was fresh and tasty. The desserts were different, small and good. The service was friendly and timely. The wine list provided variety and was affordable. The staff made you feel very comfortable.
great restaurant everything 1st class , great Italian food
We celebrated our anniversary Sat evening. From the moment we entered the venue, there was a serene beauty that was visible as well as sensory. Our waiter was attentive w/o being intrusive which we both appreciated. LaStrada has been added to our list of favorites.
We were greeted at the door and seated immediately. Our waiters introduced themselves and were very friendly and professional. We ordered our appetizer and it came out promptly. Our waiter served us and left us to enjoy. We ordered the 'Trust Me' entree which is a 4 course menu left in the Chef's hands. We enjoyed raddichio and arugula salad, mushroom ravioli (a signature dish at La Strada) and another pasta dish I don't remember the name of, lamb chop and tuna tartare, and peach raspberry gelato. We love everything about LaStrada. The ambience is bested only by the food. YUM And not expensive for the entire experience
