Wonderful meal as usual. Fantastic service and ambiance.
Meat Ravioli did not have any cheese. Last time we ate here it did. Veal Parmigian did not have a choice of pasta. Privious stays did have spaghetti. It appears as if the menu servings were changed. Service was excellent.
La Strada is one of the best restaurants in Reno. Being a first time visitor to the city, I was extremely impressed with the service, the decor, the mood. Although I had a 6:45 PM reservation, my mother and I were able to get seated early, on a Saturday night! 5 stars, by far.
We were surprised that they didn't acknowledge us for our 60th Wedding Anniversary celebration. Usually quality places give you a dessert or something.
Keith was one of the best waiters we have ever had. His attention to detail and friendliness was top notch so ask for him if you go. And, the food was excellent to include the best garlic bread we’ve ever had!
We enjoy visiting La Strada when we visit Reno. This visit, we celebrated my birthday. We were not disappointed! We enjoyed special smoked cocktails made tableside (very cool show & tasty cocktail). The meal was lovely (as always). Our charming server, Chris, was also a total pro. He serenaded with an Italian birthday song as he served our dessert. Fabulous time. Thank you!
Service, food and ambiance were all so perfect. Salmon baked in cartoccio was excellent! Mushroom Ravioli was very good as well. Thank you for a lovely evening with friends.
The potatoes were inedible. Dry, hard and barely warm. The kitchen staff had to be aware and the waiter could not have missed the condition.
When I am in Reno, I always make reservations at La Strada for dinner. I ordered the Saltimbocca as my entree, and it was delicious. If you don't know what that is it is veal, with prosciutto, fontina cheese and sage in a wine sauce. It also came with sauteed spinach and garlic. I had a glass of Ferrari-Carrano Fume Blanc with my meal. I had the tiramisu for dessert. Great meal as usual!
