I never about going to rehab. I came here thinking it was a tour, turns out it was an intake. Being lied to never felt so good. It has opened my eyes to a new world even a new career. My stories/experience with my alcoholic disease have helped so many people here. I don’t want to leave, it’s home. I have never felt so different, loved, and cared for like I have here. Overall Facility is good. Meka is extremely unhelpful and quite rude to be honest. No one knows the “rules” correctly, there is no one that gives you the same answer to any questions. There is no excuse for Meka to run her department (taking care of drop off requests) in such a poor manner. She couldn’t give a shit if anyone’s requests are met, if they are approved in a timely manner or distributed in a timely manner. I have been here 3 times and every time I meet people they always say this place is awesome and it’s really a good place with good staffs. I also want to thank the chiefs and cooks downstairs at the cafeteria for their hard work everyday. And my big thank goes to Nancy the cheerleader.

Megan is am amazing nurse and is super friendly. Scott and Larry are amazing counselors, they have helped to want to stay. Kelly the nutritionist is amazing and super helpful. My case manager Sabrina is extremely competent and goes above and beyond. Nancy the activities director is amazing at her job and thoroughly makes the atmosphere a better place.
Great activity director. They are working out the kinks after hiring more therapists and meeting facilitators. Food staff is friendly and food is delicious. Snack cart rounds nightly. Snacks available on each floor. Beautiful facility upon first glance. No pride in painting of elevators and other areas. No outside amenities. Their is a pool you can’t use it. Overall I am enjoying my experience at Laguna Treatment. My therapist Larry is outstanding. The food is good and the cafe staff is excellent. The AA meetings are a highlight of each day. The game nights and events hosted by Nancy are very fun and it’s nice to have some entertainment, Scott is a great group therapist, he’s very caring. The nutritionist Kelly is very good and remembers everyone’s names!!!! Jeff is very accommodating and very kind to all of us.
This facility has been a life saver. I felt safe at a very low point in my addiction. Great facilitators, and groups. I hope I do not relapse if so I will be back for my well-being.
