After over 30 years with horrible luck with contractors my faith has been restored. We have wanted central air and heating but were always put off by the expected cost and how difficult it is to find someone to work on your house, let alone come into your home. My wife found Lambert Service Now on Angies List, along with the e-mail addresses of three other A/C companies pulled from Angies List. I sent the same e-mail to all four. I explained in detail what I wanted and gave my contact information. Thirty minutes after the first e-mail was sent, I received my first of only two call backs from the four e-mails?s I sent out. Christianne from Lambert Service Now called and we set up an appointment for an estimate. An hour later I had an e-mail from her confirming our phone call and appointment time. The night before the appointment I received another phone call from Christianne confirming the next day?s appointment. The owner, Alan Lambert was on time, his work vehicle was clean and professional looking with the company name, products and services noted on the side. Alan was clean and professional. He put on shoe covers before enteringour home, as well as each and every visit, as did all of his workers. We spoke about what we wanted and he explained what he was going to do to insure we were buying what we needed, not what would make him the most money. He didn't say this but his honesty just comes through in that way. Each of the rooms and windows were measured, Alan explained this is one of the most important steps to getting the correct sized unit, one too large and you?re wasting money, too small and the unit is working too hard and wasting electricity. It took about an hour for Alan to measure everything, inspect the attic and electrical panel. We also went over locations to install the outdoor portion of the unit. When Alan was done he said he would like to write up the estimate at the office and come over when my wife was home. This was fine as I had another contractor coming over in the next couple of days. Quickly I'd like to note, the other company from Angie's List that called back, first almost tried to talk me out of it; "You do know this isn?t cheap?. Anyway he did come over, walked through each room and lifted the attic door with his clip board, ten minutes later he was gone and I had his estimate proving he was correct, he?s not cheap! Back to Lambert, Alan again showed up on time and we went over five different estimates that he worked up for us. He explained what each had over the others. He went over in detail the installation process and how long it would take. We were advised the installation would take 5 days,with two workers on site from 8 to 4:30. Each of these days his technician would be in and out as needed. I told Alan we would have to think on it as we had one more contractor coming over, a ?friend of a friend?. As soon as Alan pulled away from the curb, my wife and I made the decisionthatwe were going to go with Lambert Service Now. We phoned Alan, set up a time to sign the papers and I canceled the other contractor.Everything and I mean everything went as planned. The workers were on time, courteous, constantly picking up after themselves. Theylaiddrop-clothseverywhere they would be walking. If they left the drop cloth other than to go outside, they put booties on over their shoes. When they were done for the day, they cleaned up and vacuumed theareas they worked or walked through that day; they also organized all of their tools and supplies outside into one tidy area and before they left. Each day they asked it I had any questions or concerns. I highly recommend Lambert Service Now!
