RecommendedLantern Oaks has become our favorite RV Resort in Fredericksburg! We stay in this area roughly 4 times a year and decided to try this new park! The park is in a most convenient location, it's quiet, sites are spacious, many sites have an extra space for parking your vehicle, there is a large dog park, and the whole park is lovely. RecommendedWe have been full time RVers coming up on 4 years and this is by far the nicest park we have stayed in. The amenities are truly resort class. The staff and management are friendly, professional and their dedication to making sure everything runs smoothly shows everywhere. Making sure all guests have the best experience is their number one priority. We highly recommend Lantern Oaks RV Resort!!

Like many of the reviews have mentioned, this park is beautiful and immaculately maintained - they take pride in their space. 5 stars for paved sites, well maintained and nice common areas and the spacious dog park! If you're traveling with adults only, would likely recommend due to close proximity to Main st. Unfortunately, this is not a place for kiddos or young families. Lantern Oaks RV Resort presents itself as a modern, upscale destination, but beneath the veneer of “luxury” lies a disturbing culture of arrogance and exclusion. The amenities are new, yes — but they became unusable to us because of the front desk staff’s condescending and belittling behavior. Very noisy location! 50+ airplanes take off right over the park everyday. HWY 16 has lots of traffic noise starting at 5:30am. A construction materials yard is right next door and the heavy equipment with their back up beepers starts about 6:30am. Senior staff is rude. Front line staff are friendly.
