RecommendedLantern Oaks has become our favorite RV Resort in Fredericksburg! We stay in this area roughly 4 times a year and decided to try this new park! The park is in a most convenient location, it's quiet, sites are spacious, many sites have an extra space for parking your vehicle, there is a large dog park, and the whole park is lovely. RecommendedWe have been full time RVers coming up on 4 years and this is by far the nicest park we have stayed in. The amenities are truly resort class. The staff and management are friendly, professional and their dedication to making sure everything runs smoothly shows everywhere. ⭐ 1 STAR — UNACCEPTABLE MANAGEMENT! HONEYMOON RUINED BY DISREGARD FOR GUESTS! We will never stay at Lantern Oaks RV Resort again. What should have been a relaxing honeymoon became two days of frustration and disappointment. This was our second visit, but because of management’s response, it will be our last. We stayed at Site 49, which already had a limited grassy sitting area surrounded by yellow bollards and a utility pole. We stayed here for Labor Day Weekend. Site #130 is a pull through site with a fenced area for our dogs. There is so much road noise due to the site being very close to the road and no sound barrier. If you like road noise not an issue. The pool is the size of a residential pool and is very small. The dog park is good size and has a large and small dog section so that was good.
