I have never heard of Pima Medical Institute until a few years ago when I was looking into the medical field as a career. I've been to College of Southern Nevada and completed the course for the Certified Nursing Assistant to place my foot in the door to start my medical career. I knew where I was headed and I was on my way! After working as CNA for a year and a half, my hunger for more led me to change my major from nursing to radiology. After completing all of my general education classes and working the medical for 4 ... read more
Hello! my name is Adilene, i just went to PMI yesterday and i met frank to be honest i liked him too..he was handling two jobs at the same time but he gave me the attention i needed..really we go to find out how they manage careers, how much it is and get on it. i did my logic test and passed it too.im suppose to go back to do my financial aid paperwork and then ill take it from there. I been to 3 schools in the past week trying to get into a pharmacy tech school. I visited Kaplan, Pima and Hitech. I have been looking to be a pharmacy tech for 2 years now, I started in Cali and ended up in vegas. I was looking a school that would woo me! and I believe i have. 1st Kaplan impressed me. I knew someone who attended Kaplan and is has been working as a PT for 3 years now. No complaints, very friendly straight forward, The only down side was the price! about 12000. 2nd was Pima. I waited a little bit but it a... read more
I was trying to return to pima in Las Vegas after being terminated due to failing a class and i was on the phone with the student services coordinator Ladonna and she spoke to me like I was wasting her time and when I spoke to her in person she told me that if I were to return and failed my classes again that it wouldn't be a good look. I didn't feel like I was particularly welcomed there, like they didn't want me there so I decided not to return
WHERE IS THE 0 STARS SIGN!?!?! Where do I even begin? I've been in the Radiology program for ALMOST 2 years (which is the length of the Radiology program). I got sexually harassed twice in Sept. 2023 and Oct. 2023 by one of the techs while I was doing my clinicals. The tech said some nasty stuffs to me and I thought to myself "you know what, just keep it to yourself because you're just here for your internship". So I brushed it off. Not until Feb. 13, 2024, one of my classmates asked me what clinic am I going to be next we... read more
This school is a scam. The rad program staff are liars and try to manipulate you into another program because they still want your money. Basically, it's a first come first serve type basis even though there's a deadline.
Pima sucks they steal your money and don't care about your actual career just want your fkn money and they are stingy with the materials even though you payed for them and they don't care about where they send you to your externship, i would never recommend pima to anyone
It's been over a decade since I graduated here.... DO NOT DO IT!!!! I have NEVER been able to make ends meet working in the field I received my Cert in. Had to bust my ass and move up to management. I no longer use ANYTHING I learned at this so called school. Hands on training especially in a state where having the cert isn't required is much better. Make close to the same and do not have to worry about NAVIENT calling every other day asking if you're finally making enough to be able to pay the THOUSANDS of dollars they char... read more
The enrollment counselor named, Divannea, made me change my mind about applying to this school. There are other bad reviews about her, and I can confirm them. She is unapologetically rude and does not listen to you. Hell no. I am not investing over 50k in this institution if I will get that kind of treatment.
