Don't waste your time or money. This school is not worth what they charge and I'm highly disappointed in the education they provide. They are even looking for new instructors on Craigslist. Trust me, it has been my biggest regret making the decision to attend this school, don't make it yours. I could go on with a list of reasons why not to attend this school but I rather keep it short and sweet. If you want a medical career you can do it without Pima who you can NOT TRUST because they DO NOT RESPECT YOU and who the hell woul... read more
Apparently word of mouth has finally reached the instructors of the Respiratory Therapy Department that these reviews were being written and that they started stating that these allegations were not true, written by T. Y.. I can assure you that these allegations that T.Y. has stated are 110% true! I have witnessed these allegations myself and all what I had experienced truly supports all these allegations. They apparently stated that all these reviews that they filtered were "unfair"...but to filter 17 reviews and only pos... read more
I heard a lot of really good things about the other programs at Pima so i decided that all the programs must be just as good.I went for the respiratory program and the people there were terrible. The respiratory Program was the complete opposite of anything I had heard. The professors talk down to everyone. They make it miserable and make rude comments. Even the head director of the program said to me "You can not do it so you might as well drop out now." This was due to the fact that my dad had a heart surgery and so I h... read more
This school is a scam!! don't waste your money and go here! I attended this school in 2010 and I wasted a money and a whole year of my time. They were suppose to help me after graduating and never did, I had all A's and finished all my internship hours, and I had to chase after them in order for the school to talk to me. Still to this day I do not have a career in the medical field all I have is a stupid piece of paper telling me I graduated the program, and debt to my name! DON'T GO HERE!!!
I agree with all the negative reviews including the suspicious filtered ones. They will lie and tell you anything to get you into their school and take your money. Made complaints to the DOE. They said in the beginning that their credits are accredited and can be transferred to any college including CSN. 3 months into it, after many teachers and staff gossiping, I questioned CSN directly of the transfer of credits and they told me basically "That school is a real joke, we had have many students here fall victim." I confront... read more
I attended Pima Medical institute from 2009-2010. I enrolled in the Dental Assisting program, and I liked it. The instructors were great. When it came time to go on my externship site, I was sent to a place called Gentle Dental. They were not friendly at all. It's supposed to be a teaching place, but they did not help me what so ever. The office manager was mean, and kept walking by and would also breathe down my neck. On the way home one day, I got a call from Pima. They wanted me to come and talk with the administr... read more
Pima Medical of Houston Texas is not the best. Well their Hygiene Program is helping Pima to get a bad name. To start off this year was their first year 2012, October to start the Hygiene program. The second week of the program student started to drop. the students did go the Hygiene Director and Clinical Director and gave an opinion, the program is very unorganized. Instead of listening to the student body they got the students out while trying to hide all the facts from the school Administrator. the excuse they gave th... read more
DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL!!!!! If you in anyway disagree with what the instuctors or offfice personnel have to say you will be terminated. I was threated by the director of the school and terminated for not letting them order me around. I was and A,B stundent and missed only one day in three months.(I'm also 50 years old) The students spend their time gossiping about each other and their all low income welfare recipents. The director of the school told me he was going to take me down, Can someone tell me what that means. ST... read more
Pima Medical Institute is by far the worst career school on earth! I had the terrible misfortune of going to this awful excuse of a school several years ago. First, that con artist recruiter talks me into taking a "Medical Administrative Assistant" program when I originally wanted just to take the Phlebotomy course. They said they "don't offer the Phlebotomy program anymore". Then, after five months of intense study (I even made the director's list for scholarship), they send me on the externship from hell with some sma... read more
