If I could I would give zero stars. Ageism when you are younger than 20 and want to enter the school. Handbook says you are allowed 2 opportunities to retake tests which is false, they don't let you. Ask teacher for help and you get told no. Basically just there to take your money and then kick your kids out. Great job.

This school is a SCAM!! A lot of underlying fees they don't tell you about!! Also The dental program was the worst experience I've ever had.. They love to haze new students and the instructor is the rudest person I have ever met in my entire life! I didn't even last three weeks in the dental program before transferring to Nevada career institute and I am so glad I did. Please don't go to this school.

Things I Wish Knew Before Attending Pima: - Full time coursework, thank God I had my husband to support me so I didn't have to over work myself and work and go to school everyday, I worked part time (but I stopped going bc I was told I had to get the covid shot & just all the bad experiences I've had with this school made me give up on trying to attend here) - You'll encounter a lot of interesting & questionable teachers. They're unprofessional and don't care about their students. I had a teacher once flip out on me beca... read more

Im giving this place a 1 star because Thames are terrible and they lie about everything. I went there back in 2015-2016 and was in the MA program, it was the worst thing ever. The teacher I had did teach us anything and we were a class of 4 and the PPS system that they use is terrible to, I was sick one day and the teacher told me go home so I went home but then come to find out the teacher docked me points for leaving even though she was the one that told me to go home. The financial department is a joke, when I started the... read more

Respiratory Therapy Program in Pima Medical Institute of Las Vegas. I wanted to write a comprehensive review once I graduate. This program has been such a disappointment, as I am at the end I just need to warn potential future students. While speaking with other students, I've noticed that a negative review might get those in charge to notice how far this program has fallen. Comparing price, quality of education, and facility to Carrington College in Las Vegas, skip Pima and go to Carrington. I have several friends i... read more

I was attending this institute a year back before the pandemic was happening. I love the teachers and the MA program I was in. Sadly, I had to drop out due to me being my brother's only guardian at the time, which also required me to get a second job to be able to cover all expenses while taking care of my brother's school fee, food, etc. I had a plan on returning back and switching my program to VA since i truly discovered my love for animals. I just needed to pay off my tuition, which was fine with me though it was more ... read more

Las Vegas Respiratory Program I have previous graduated from the Respiratory Therapy program this past October. We had Mrs. Mackenzie as our program director. She is completely disorganized and rarely will get back to you in a timely manner, even if she gets back to you. We waited over 4 months to get our ACLS and PALS cards. She constantly blamed it on Covid, but magically when we send our emails to the campus director, we get results. There were people in my class, that failed and had to repeat, but some how, I know... read more

Respiratory Therapy Program for Las Vegas is extremely poor. This pandemic has completely ruined Pima. The program is down to three instructors. One instructor, Mrs. Jenn, will also be your Program Director. She easily gets distracted by her ten children during online classes. She stated she had another job as a director elsewhere and often her assignments, quizzes and FINAL EXAMS will have several errors. Students often send her corrections to her own materials. She is incredibly disorganized and lacks time to give her st... read more
