The community was clean. The staff were friendly and inviting. They did a great job educating us on assisted living services. The welcoming committee was current residents excited to welcome us into the community. I am excited to have dad join the community!

I love my apartment, the staff is really friendly and tries to please. The thing they could specifically improve upon as the food. They use a lot of highly processed foods very little protein served cold and run out of things all the time. I would recommend it if they're willing to cook some of their food themselves. Or if they're not fussy about their food.

I really like the community they build. And I think there are a lot of extra perks for living there. For a while my mom needed a gluten free diet and they really had difficulty being able to meet that. The servers in the dining area definitely did not know what that meant.

My mother moved in this past June. This place has been up and way beyond her expectations. Everyone that works at Laurel Oaks is always friendly and helpful. There are countless activities and outings to participate in. I have not seen my mother this active and happy for some time..

They are friendly and extremely helpful. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone that would like a younger more vibrant community. Most of the residents here are using walkers and wheelchairs and many seem to be extremely elderly. My apartment is wonderful and I'm very happy here and it seems to be a good place to age into. However, most of the residents seem to be what you would find in an assisted living and not in an independent living facility.

Facility has been recently updated inside, and it is very tastefully done. (Supposedly their are plans for the outside) The staff are very helpful and friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs. There are loads of activities, and one can stay busy for most of the day! There is one meal a day included even with independent living, which is a tremendous plus and helps get people out of their apartment. Apartments are roomy. Staff is stellar - [names removed] very involved and know the residents Excellent activities and lots of variety Friendly environment Safe, clean, affordable Attentive to residents needs Convenient location to Bayshore, Trader Joe's, etc. Renovated common areas are well done and attractive Great atmosphere and made my mom feel welcomed as a new resident

The staff is very friendly to the residents and guests. In the dining hall the staff that I had just been introduced to even called me by name for a meal and were very friendly and attentive to me. They know all the residents names and what their favorites foods are. The residents are happy, friendly, and entertaining.
