The revised menu is very appealing with the selections offered, quality and pricing. LBV is ALWAYS worth a return visit!
It was a couple of months since our last visit which was my wife's birthday. This time was with both our adult children, with the expanded menu, it's a much better value, not just upscale pricing and meals. Is now one of our favorite restaurants in Erie.
It was a very nice place to dine! I enjoyed the atmosphere a great deal. Although it was right inside the casino, it was fairly quiet! I was slightly annoyed that the television sets were turned on after we started eating (because individuals wanted to watch baseball), but it did not take away (too much) from the overall experience.
Friday night was our visit! The food was very good and we will definitely go back! I loved the music!
We ordered the filet and it was perfectly cooked. Highly recommend the food and restaurant!
We were all pleasantly surprised over the quality of our meals. The waiter was excellent, the variety of the menu was also great. La Bonne Vie was, in a previous life, an upscale steakhouse with exceptional, albeit expensive, offerings. Presently, food selections and preparation are similar to some chains. I had veal saltimbocca which, in addition to the veal and possibly a layer of prosciutto, was topped with cheese - a variation I have not previous experienced. In addition, we shared a calamari appetizer which was overcooked, rendering it very chewy. Finally, service was quite slow.
Food was ok $25 per person with appetizer, nothing special but was good every 5 minutes they ask how you are doing if you need anything.
We are do not enjoy buffets. You restaurant was quiet. The food was excellent.
