Box had been opened and then resealed. The box had been opened and then resealed with scotch tape. The expiration date is only on the box, not on the individual ink packages. No finger pointing, only that there is no way to tell whether the ink is expired, nor would I expect an OEM box to have been opened prior to shipping. As for the ink, no way to know yet since I have not used them.

Not a fair review This isn't really a fair review, and am only providing it because I was prompted to provide a review. I only recently purchased my Brother printer and ordered this high yield cartridge in addition to the regular cartridges that come with the printer. As of this writing I am very pleased with the printing quality of the ink and if the high yield cartridges work as well as the regular cartridges and print as many pages as the product claims I will gladly give them a 5 star rating, but as I said until I actual... read more
Good product with the lowest TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) on market. Bought these for 'spares' so I have not actually used them yet. That said, I really like the packaging. It gives me confidence that when I do install them they will work as promised. Details: This has not been the case with two different vendors 'knock-off' cartridges I have purchased. One was of obviously poorer quality and print results. One color ran out before I received another vendor's cartridges ordered 2 weeks after receiving the first order. It cl... read more
