I purchased the Brother printer as it promised an unbelievable ... I purchased the Brother printer as it promised an unbelievable amount of copies with its outstanding, long lasting, ink. After 60 copies of black, the XXL long lasting ink was empty and I had to purchase another. After paying a LOT for another LONG LASTING black XXL ink cartridge, it was empty again after 103 copies. Two Stars COLORS DID NOT LAST OVER 100 PAGES
DONT BUY THIS BOX OF GARBAGE Let me start off by saying I was having issues with my printer. I thought maybe I needed New Ink, like it had gone bad or something. So I Spent $46 and ordered these. Prime shipping, It's expensive, but I thought they are XXL and made by Brother, so they have to be good right? NOPE. Don't waste your money. Not for MFC-J470DW! Don't make the mistake I did. I have a Brother MFC-J470DW. These cartridges don't work with that printer! And, in fact, they don't appear to claim to. But something led me to this cartridge when I was purchasing. Of course, by the time I needed to use them, I was past the return time frame. And I had a time critical need to use them when I needed them. They fit in the printer just fine. It just won't recognize them. Use Brother website to verify compatibility with your printer. Bought this a couple of months ago to have it when needed. At the time there was a little "Will this work with my printer?" link, which said it would work, but today, when it comes time to use, it turns out it is not compatible (MFC-J870DW). Tried to make sure I didn't make a mistake and the little link helper is gone now, so I assume Amazon realized they screwed that one up. Not a good product and can't be returned Purchase ink ahead of time as if you really know when it is going to run out. First color I used 2/29, 6 weeks after I purchased - the printer can't read the cartridge. Not a good product and can't be returned.
