We are not satisfied with the gutter system. On our home, it does not work correctly. Rain water simply shoots out over the leaf guard and into our yard or on to our patio! In the winter, it causes massive icicles.
I bought a product that was guaranteed to solve my gutter problems, only to find out that it doesn't. My bad for trusting what the salesman told me. Leaf Guard is wrong for being outright dishonest in their presentation.
I did not think much of their work. There was a lot of postponed work. The workers did not know what they were doing. I had to keep calling and was not happy they had to come back and fix some things.
They are too expensive.
I felt pressure from the representative. The figure price was noticeably higher than I had projected for this service. As we went over payment options, I expressed that I wanted the 18 months same as cash. I do not ever pay interest on the projects I do. After all the razzle dazzle of discounts presented to me, I come to find out that my desire for no interest for 18 months was overrun by another "discount". I am working to pay off the $2000. We have a small ranch with a peak on our roof. When the salesman presented his quote and presentation he told us we would no longer need the diverters that were currentlly on our roof becasue of their system. This was particularly pleasing to me as I have always hated the look of the diverters and impacted our decision of this purchase. The gutters were installed while we were not home and they installed new diverters to our dismay. If you live in a snow area you should know these gutters cause major icicle build up on the front edge. I tried a couple of times to get LeafGuard to help with the problem but it is thrown back on me. They tell me not enough insulation in my attic, which was just insulated or heat trace my gutters. They will mention this during the sale but you have no real time to investigate. I wasn't even given the 3 business days to cancel.
