******. J I think leaf guard did a excellent job. **** and ****** arrived early and explained everything to me that was going to take place then went to work. They completed the job in just 2-3 hours then had me go through walk and showed me the work and reviewed the system with me. They cleaned up after completing job. I very pleased with their work and placement of new gutters.
I had Leafguard Gutters installed a few months ago. The system functions as advertised. Some pros and cons of my experience follow:Con: Price Questionable Sales Rep ******* -The 'call-in' to "management" for price negotiation, while I stood there, is an ugly sales tactic to push the naive customer into a purchase. We had Leaf Guard out last night. The representative ***** was very helpful and professional. He did not pressure us to purchase anything and was very knowledgable. He even stayed longer to help us decide on a color. We ended up going with this company due to all of the above, we have had 2 other companies out where we felt pressured and reps seemed only out for the sale. The product design is superior to others we've looked at. I hope it lives up to the promises guaranteed by the salesman. I think it's grossly overpriced and recommend paying a company to clean your gutters 2x a year instead. After 10 years, you'd probably still pay less money than installing Leaf Guard. We had them installed in August 2025. I had them on my previous home in 2008 and boy has the cost gone up. Never had problems in my previous home, but the install in 2025 has been nothing but problems. The install went fine, but they hang past the edge of the roof, leaves are still getting into the gutters and they now have a grate system so you can clear out the debris. I had the gutters installed and have an issue with gutters hanging out past the end of the house. I was told they would come fix it. It's been 3 weeks and nobody has contacted me to set up a time.
The **** came to my house and I gave her half the money for the payment in cash. She took that to the office they don't accept cash. She took the cash and got a money order they don't accept those either. The contractor that did the job did a great job. When he was he was asking for cash. There was no receipt book or nothing. So no cash was given. It was just a lot. The issues have not been resolved and it's been 2 weeks since the job got finished. I am out of *****. I had Leafguard gutters installed at great expense in 2022. Have had tremendous icicles this winter which pose a risk each time I leave the house or am opening the door. Ice berms form under foot on my porch and deck as the icicles form and melt. Have called the people who sold them to me and installed them several times with no response to my concerns.
