We have had leaf guards gutters on our home for years. They work without any problems. One night I guess two raccoons were fighting by the downspout a broke the hanger that holds it to the house along with the hinge since we have the downspouts on hinges. I called Evan our sales rep he told me to take a few pictures of what happened. A few minutes later he called back said they would repair it at no cost. Leaf Guard works well on most of our house. It is attractive and installation was timely and well constructed. Howver, on the rear of our house the system does not work well during heavy, prolonged storms. Leaves and twigs accumlate, and drains can not handle the heavy rain. We have to use a sump pump to remove the water accumlated on our patio. ****** *******
