Get directionsI received an item in the mail stating that I was pre-approved for 10k. I called in and was hesitant to proceed. I was informed that I could check out the BBB website. Afterwards, I received multiple calls a week regarding finalizing my application. I felt pressured and decided to call back. When I did I was asked a couple of questions regarding my expenses. I answered. ***** ***** then said I am going to run your credit through 45 lenders. I quickly informed him to hold off and began asking questions, while he was answering... read more

Complete waste of time do not recommend they told me I was approved after a [soft credit check] then told me I was denied and offered a $3k loan at the same interest rate as the 13k loan I was supposedly approved for. They also told me I should just keep using my credit cards Im trying to get out of to fix my financial problems ??

Get a letter in the mail offering $11000 debt consolidation "loan". Go to website, get "approved" BUT they have to talk to you to complete the "transaction". Then a smooth talking salesman convinces you to agree for them to "fix" your debt. They don't pay off the loans. They treat it like you are unable to pay your debt, and they contact your lenders as such. Bait and switch is too mild a term for what these scam artist do. HOW IS THIS LEGAL!

Dear Ms. *********** you for sharing your concerns. We sincerely apologize for any confusion or frustration this situation may have caused. Please rest assured that Lending Tower never performs a hard credit pull. The lender we refer you to may require a hard credit pull before your loan is finalized. Applying for the loan with Lending Tower is a 'soft credit pull' and does not have a negative impact on your credit score what so ever. Our pre-approval letters are based on preliminary information and are not a guarantee of fu... read more
I received a letter from Lending Tower in 2024 stating that I was prequalified for a $23,000 loan over five years with monthly payments around $400. The offer appeared legitimate, and the letter implied that my eligibility had already been assessed. After calling and completing their intake process online, I was informed that I did not qualify for the advertised loan. Instead, I was offered a debt consolidation program that had nothing to do with the original loan terms and only applied to a few of my creditors (*********** a... read more

Dear Mr. ********** you for your feedback. We understand your concerns and appreciate the opportunity to provide clarification. The mailer you received was a pre-qualification offer based on initial creditworthiness criteria. As disclosed in the mailer, final loan eligibility and terms are determined after a full review of your application, credit profile, and other underwriting factors. While we strive to match applicants with a suitable lending solution, in your case, the information provided during the consultation did not... read more
Before going to this website, as most of us have received a letter in the mail. Please do your research. Also, make sure to ask for them to remove your name from automatically being sent to other companies unless you want that option. They will run your credit through lending tower and then run it through other third-party vendors to see if they can approve you for a loan. I did luckily ask them just to make sure, which the person removed my name from that option. The letter in the mail is not legit. It is a gimmick (false a... read more

Dont even waste your time.I received a letter stating that I was pre-approved for a loan. Now, granted, Im well aware that a pre-approval isnt an automatic guarantee. The application is still conditional and up for deliberation. I applied and I received a call from a gentleman by the name of ******. I spent 30mins on the phone with ******, explaining my situation, and the reason for the loan. Instead of ****** just telling me up front that my application was denied and giving a brief synopsis on why, ****** proceeds to engag... read more

The prequalified offer they send you is not legitimate. I went through the process, and was told I had no loan offers and they wanted me to go through a debt relief program, consisting of stopping payments to my current lenders, which can cause significant credit issues despite their claims to the contrary. They do not care about you, they just want your money in whatever fashion they can get it.This is a very disingenuous business practice and I do not feel they ever intended to make good on the offer they mailed me. I will... read more
