RecommendedThis place was great until I met Toni McMillan the head nurse who I thought liked me talked and flirted with me until my time there was up and met me at the Walmart and took me to her house we where together for months until I guess she found someone else from the center to be with and just dumped me to the curb now I have relapsed all the way out here in North Carolin/ Mountain Airy with no family or nothing

it was my 1st to to rehab, and it wasn't a pleasant experience at all there! I do not recommend them to anyone period! First off they are over populated and understaffed, I was there over 2 weeks and didn't get seen by the doctors, phsyciastris, get all my m eds, and wasn't treated for my conditions or sicknesses! also they ran out of food on a daily! not enough to drink 24/7! they made me leave my car at the hillsville center than when I left for emergency overy daughter, and to get seen and treated by my family doctors, th... read more
This place is a joke! No structure what so ever! Under staffed and over crowded!! Dirty as well as they only have 2 cleaning personnel’s clean behind over 100 people! They are pushing methadone on everyone even if it isn’t their problem the person is having, all to get more grant money! If you tryin to get clean, I don’t recommend coming here. There is drugs everywhere in the building, hell even some staff supplies the patients with it. I can’t believe that they haven’t been shut down yet. I would not recommend this place at all the management is terrible and patients are allowed to do whatever the f they want. Overdoses happen here often and they could be prevented but no body cares. They just pretend like they do to get their checks and bonuses!
I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CALL THIS PLACE FOR WEEKS TO GET AHOLD OF MY SISTER AND STILL HAVE GOTTEN NOTHING!! I ALSO HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THEM TO SEND PAPERWORK TO MY SISTERS LAWYER, PO, AND COURTS AND THEY HAVE DONE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! Life center of Galax is a joke, I would not recommend Galax to my dog. Your safety is at risk there because they allow white people get away with smoking in the bathroom and when the black people get caught smoking they put them out. The place is drug infested, I work out the door n looked down n it was a dope bag right in front of my door. When you walk down the hallway all you smell is weed mixed with crack.
