I rent 3 units at the ******* and ****** location in ********, **. I've been a customer for at least 5 years, since they bought out the storage facility on 81st and ********* Due to my physical disabilities, I have direct payment set up through my bank and have never been late on my rent. Because I hired this location manager's girlfriend, ******** ******** changed my direct payment plan so that he could accrue late payments, rent out additional units without my knowledge, try to evict me, and send my belongings to auction. ... read more

Scam tactics and poor management. They tried to keep my refund even though I followed all move-out rules. *********, the manager, is unprofessional and only focused on money, not customers. Don’t waste your time or money—rent elsewhere. Even though district manager had agreed to give me my refund after the agreed conversation 3 days he had said.

Predatory...that's all you can say. I am subject to +15% annual increases for two units. Get in in the door and stick a knife in your back !!

When I signed my contract with Extra Storage Space my contract said it was ***** a month because of military discount. ONE month later it ***** a month. This company is a scam. When I spoke with the mangers about my situation they told me that happen sometimes, the price goes according to the market. Do Not do business with them. YOU WILL REGRET IT

I used to be pleased with this company until my price doubled within months. I was paying $194 last year for a 1020 and literally from one month to another the price doubled. Now I was hit yet again with another price increase making my new monthly rate almost $400. An near 110% increase in such a short time period is ridiculous and abuse by this company. I will be scheduling a move and going else where that has reasonable rates.

**** who is the manager in the dracut ma office not only keeps the place spotless but I had a concern and was hesitant to bring it up being as everything has been great but he listened and took care of it within minutes.Thank you **** for everything and especially taking the time to listen and act.

Wish I can give a negative star rating to this scam of a business.First and foremost there is nothing on there website stating or indicating that any price on there is promotional. The bait and switch tactic is predatory.I initially rented the unit for $78 a month and my rent has increased to a whopping $140 a month the women on the phone stated they sent over a letter telling me about the increase but I never got anything. A 1-star rating is more than this company deserves. I rented a 10x10 unit from them for $55 per month, and after 4 months my rent has been increased to twice that amount. I will be looking for another unit. This is criminal, and I really don't know how it's even legal. I will be speaking to an attorney.

Aug 2025 - Well, they did it again. Raised the rates again, ******************'s a breakdown ************* - $185 5/2024-10/2024 - $220 (originally $244)10/2025-7/2025 - $309 8/2025 - $389 So in a year and a half my rent has gone from $185 to $389. That's a 110% increase in that time, more than double ($370 would be double). If you plan on renting from this place plan to pay more than twice as much if you plan on being there long term. "Raise rates based on market conditions" is a bunch of BS. They lure you in with a good ra... read more
