******* and ***** at the facility in ********, **, on Columbia are amazing. Their customer service is top notch, they have always been superlative to work with. More importantly, I feel like my belongings in their care is in extremely safe hands. My only complaint is that corporate sends down rate increases that are sometimes exhorbitant, and leave these two as proxies to have to deal with fallout from irate and disappointed customers--which is unfortunate because these two are so very nice and on top of all benchmarks of op... read more

I had contracted was extra space storage over a year ago and had a 15 X 20 unit which they raised the price every other month until it was nearly double what I originally paid. I downsized to a smaller unit to keep the price in line with my budget they then doubled the price on that unit after 60 days. I have read these reviews on the Better Business Bureau website, and I see the canned response from Extra Space Storage corporate, which to me is just pathetic,..... nothing but a form letter saying we will get back to you and... read more

Extra Space Storage **************************************************************. I'm career military, have used Extra Space Storage est. 6 times in different locations due to previous perception of excellent service and value. I procured a storage unit for all my hhg at this location to facilitate an out of state relocation. This facility indicates that it has keypad access for interior spaces. It does not. If i could give a 0 I would. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The double the fee after 60 days. Their policy states a 5 day ***** period but charged $20 late fee when I paid on 17th on a 12th due date. I paid at 4pm on the 27th and couldn't get in my unit at 8pm because they changed the lock. I am getting an attirney.

Unfortunately I had an unpleasant interaction with the manger in the ********, ** location. I explained to ***** and her assistant ******** that my debit card was unfortunately compromised. This triggered my financial institution to cancel my current **** debit card and issue me a new one. I regret the day I signed up with this storage company because I have nothing but issues after issues. The manager **** at the store in *************** is beyond rude. He lacks customer service. I paid over 270 dollars to move my things on a earlier date which he attempted to charge me full price till i advised that it should be pro rated being that I will not be accessing the entire month. ****** facility was beautiful, staff was great but too many issues with different pricing. I had to change facilities due to pricing on the web , I was offered a month free and was not able to get that once I changed facilities and they made me pay my 1st month up Front and then told me that the pricing only lasts for 3 months And it will increase unless I pay six months in advance.I just feel this it's all unfair, and we should be able to have the same pricing all throughout each senior facilities across-the-board. HORRIBLE & UNETHICAL We pay for climate controlled area. Their a/cs malfunctioned, they didnt tell anyone and our furniture is molded and mildewed. They have not corrected the issue & will do nothing to fix our furniture. AND we just received notice they are increasing our rates by $83.00 month - increasing the monthly rate to $258!!!!!! Do not do business with them!
