Absolute worst hospital I have ever dealt with. I have been a nurse for over 20 years and the unprofessionalism from this hospital is beyond Anything I have ever seen in my life! They released a patient, not even giving any information whatsoever concerning treatment nor when they had Their next appointment. Did not send them any prescriptions in. Nothing! Don’t bring your loved one here! HORRIBLE!
Don’t send your loved ones there. They don’t care. I was there for 9 days and it was horrible. There was a patient the openly smoked marijuana and had other patients roll the joints for him. He pulled the marijuana out at least twice in front of me. I was put in a one armed bariatric wheel chair and I wasn’t able to wheel myself most of the time so they allowed other patients to wheel me around. I fell several times and was scared to the point that I started wetting the bed. I was told by the staff that I was nasty and dirty... read more
A loved one got discharged from Longleaf on 12/13. There was a woman named Billy at intake who asked her how she wanted to hurt herself, my sister responding with “starving” then Billie looking her up & down saying “that’s going to take a long time” Then a young black male who’s name starts with a Z told her to “shut-up” multiple times & to “quit complaining” when she was talking to me on the phone about food she was going to eat, but didn’t care for. Having a simple conversation with her loved one, that’s all it was. Ther... read more
Leaving this review for other parents whose child is being sent here. My child was treated well by staff and did not witness staff mistreating others. Food wasn’t good according to my child. My biggest concern was lack of communication. We never had a meeting with anyone and only spoke with a nurse a couple of times and the social worker once. Kids are allowed to call anytime from 9-9 which was nice. You can’t call and speak to the nurse except from 12-2. Apparently how often your child gets seen by the doctor or NP is deter... read more
I worked there for 3 plus years I had stayed so long because I have a genuine care for people I really did love my patients I was hoping things got better. I worked 90 percent of the time by myself because of short staffing if I was given help that person was always eventually pulled to help elsewhere. I changed diapers, showered those needing total assistance, handled breakfast, lunch, and supper, wash clothes, did room checks, followed out orders from the charge nurse, got vitals every 6 hours, was a listening ear to tho... read more
Please do not bring your loved ones to this facility I worked there for 3 plus years I was hoping everything would get better but it didn’t…….I was fired for copying a tech sheet they worked me 90 percent of the time alone (legally that wasn’t right) they didn’t care if I was struggling or having a hard time changing diapers and still trying to run the unit……They admit any and everybody even though they are not fit for the program causing staff to ignore them because it was stated by many, “It’s not my job.” It wasn’t until... read more
