Doctor Lucas is a great doctor. Doctor Lucas has been my doctor for many years. She has my complete trust.
Dr. Lucas was referred to me and I've seen her 3 times. Wouldn't see anyone else!
Yesterday November 15 was my first appointment with Dr. Lucas. I really liked her straight forward approach. I appreciate the fact that she wanted to cover multiple bases and was quick to let me know her recommendations. I can tell this is a very busy practice, but with the hustle and bustle, I did not feel neglected or made to wait.

I have been seeing Dr. Lucas’ for 9 yrs. When I asked a Dr at another practice if I have Chrons he told me I didn’t want to have Chrons. I then switched to Dr Lucas. She immediately sent me for an endoscopy. After that she made an appt for me that same day with a surgeon. The next day he removed a foot of my colon. It would have burst w/in the month if I stayed with the other Dr. Yes, I have waited a long time for an appt, but the other Dr didn’t have anyone in his waiting room for a reason
I've been a patient of Dr. Lucas for a number of years. She is very busy, so yes, there have been times I've had to wait but I do feel she is worth the wait. When I was sick with shingles, she was very compassionate. She is very smart and analytical which is what I prioritize in a Dr. over bedside manner. She voluntarily helped me get the best price possible on a med I needed that would've cost me a fortune otherwise. She correctly diagnosed me and my life has changed having this diagnosis.

I know Dr Kucas has a reputation for always being late, but the longest I have waited if 45 mins and she definitely wants to know all my issues just in the consult before the colonoscopy .. she weeds out issues.. I love her irreverent behavior because she is so dang smart!! And I love her staff they try to make you comfortable if you have to wait.
She took the time to ask me a lot of questions and seemed genuinely interested in helping me. She was able to identify medication that would help me and I am already feeling much better.
