Dr Lucas herself is great - straight-forward, knowledgeable, thoughtful and so on. But her reception team and scheduling practices are terrible. The reception assistant and manager do not keep people informed of delays, and don't apologize or show care when folks have to reschedule due to those delays. As significant delays past appointment times appear to be extremely common, I don't know why they can't schedule better
She is approachable and will answer any/all questions. She may be direct to some, but I liked her directness as it was matched with empathy and care.
I have been seeing Dr. Lucas for over 11years. She is one of the best physicians I have ever seen. I retired from the Healthcare business and belive when I say she is the best. She saved me from having unnecessary surgery that was recommended by another physician. She is very gentle and had a special way of putting you at ease. I can't say enough good things about her.
Do not go here. Staff are unresponsive and treated as a number. Doctor is rushed and lacks empathy.
From scheduling to day of procedure was frustrating. No flexibility in the prep procedure. Would only offer up a 2 day prep unless I wanted to come in to see (pay) to see Dr Lucas - then she would prescribe suprep. And this visit was not overdue - it is right on time. Also, told them I would pay self pay. Day of visit I arrive & they say nope no one told us so you have to file with insurance. I switched to Dr. Lucas after my long-term doctor within the same practice retired. After performing my yearly colonoscopy (results showing I was in remission), I called the office to report I wasn’t feeling well at all. Her assistant took a week to get back to me, and meds were phoned in, which did not help. This went on for a couple of weeks, and I went downhill fast. No bedside manner, no follow through by her or her staff, misdiagnosis caused other issues, would not recommend for serious health issues
This Doctor was way overbooked. We've waited 4 hours to get the endoscopy done. Waste of half a day.
