The golden beet salad was tasty but very small. Even with a protein added, it barely counted as a satisfying dinner for the price of a full entree
Food: I got the All American Breakfast and it was good. There wasn't anything special about the food that made it stand out from any breakfast item. The only downside is the order was mixed up with my friends order (part of my order was with hers, and some of her order was on mine -- so we couldn't truly switch the dish). I would probably go to brunch or dinner instead of the breakfast portion. Service: Staff was really nice and attentive.
The food is very good, nice variety of entrees. Service pretty slow, but friendly. Nice location for performances at Symphony Hall.
The Cocktails and service were great, and the food was tasty too
We loved the atmosphere! Such a chill place. A perfect date spot. We went on a Saturday night, and it wasn't too crowded, and the wait was not more than 10-15 minutes. There's a good drink selection, including mock-tails, and tasty food dishes. The apps are phenomenal! Smoked tater tots (not the tater tots that you are imagining, and nothing like those!), and the crispy ribs... sooo good! Just a nice lounge feel, with friendly service and plenty of elbow room. I loved that the tables are not right on top of each other. I cou... read more
The food was AMAZING. The drinks were AMAZING. The ambiance was AMAZING! The macaroni and cheese was next level. Espresso Martinis were delish. Highly recommend!
It was fine. The waitstaff was very nice but overworked. I got some veggie things and everything was pickled/very vinegary. Not that it didn’t taste good, just an FYI to ask if that’s not your thing. I would skip the pasta dishes. Tastes like jarred sauce. The sandwiches and entrees we ordered were good.
We had loved Brasserie Jo pre- theater or symphony - this new restaurant replaced it and the food is outstanding from the caesar salad to the terrific tuna and great salmon. The bread was also good as was the sorbet for dessert. We found the restaurant a bit stark in decor and the wait service slow. Once we kept asking for bread for the table - the service picked up. Training of staff would help.
On the positive side, the place with clean and brightly lit. Service was very slow. Food was passable. I had a simple breakfast of eggs over easy with potatoes and toast. Eggs were greasy and potatoes were over cooked. Definitely would not be recommend for brunch or breakfast.
