Food was amazing! That’s all I have to say. Good Luck
We were glad to find Lucie, the restaurant that took over the Brasserie Jo space at the Colonnade Hotel. Very comfortable, nice vibe, friendly and attentive staff...and a good Aperol Spritz! The food was plentiful but a bit 'intense' in flavoring for me (not usually something I would say)...it just felt like a bit of refinement would benefit the dishes. Examples: arugula salad with a dressing that was biting with vinegar (but gorgeous to look at); onion soup that was too intense in beef flavor and could have used a little mo... read more
Lucie is a convenient option in the Prudential Center neighborhood and usually is not crowded (that may worry them but it's nice for those patronizing it!). Food is solid, not neecessarily inexpensive; I think the less expensive options could be offered with larger portions and/or more accroutrements. Service is friendly if a bit slow; there seems to be a shortage of staff. Still, the experience is enjoyable and definitely low-stress, unlike much of today's restaurant scene.
The golden beet salad was tasty but very small. Even with a protein added, it barely counted as a satisfying dinner for the price of a full entree
Food: I got the All American Breakfast and it was good. There wasn't anything special about the food that made it stand out from any breakfast item. The only downside is the order was mixed up with my friends order (part of my order was with hers, and some of her order was on mine -- so we couldn't truly switch the dish). I would probably go to brunch or dinner instead of the breakfast portion. Service: Staff was really nice and attentive.
The food is very good, nice variety of entrees. Service pretty slow, but friendly. Nice location for performances at Symphony Hall.
The Cocktails and service were great, and the food was tasty too
We loved the atmosphere! Such a chill place. A perfect date spot. We went on a Saturday night, and it wasn't too crowded, and the wait was not more than 10-15 minutes. There's a good drink selection, including mock-tails, and tasty food dishes. The apps are phenomenal! Smoked tater tots (not the tater tots that you are imagining, and nothing like those!), and the crispy ribs... sooo good! Just a nice lounge feel, with friendly service and plenty of elbow room. I loved that the tables are not right on top of each other. I cou... read more
