Good food, nice surroundings, buzzy atmosphere, but nothing particularly special about it. Service, however, was excellent and welcoming.
We like its spacious dining room and a large bar. Our favorite bartender Ivan makes great cocktails. Food is good too,
First time at Lucie but definitely not the last. Our food and cocktails were excellent and the service was also great. Highly recommend as your pre-event dinner spot if you're going to Symphony Hall.
Excellent service
I think the service needs improvement. The place settings should be put down BEFORE the meal arrives instead of scrambling trying to set up AFTER the food arrives and begins to get cold. Also the bartender la seems to be freestyling amd drinks are not real experience quality cocktail mixtures. Potential is there.
First time at Lucie. Interesting, diverse menu. The two we tried were both delicious. Service was friendly, intelligent and attentive. Will look forward to returning.
The food and service were both very good, but the music was way, way too loud, especially in such a large, open dining space which caused all fo the sound to reverberate. The "background" music was at dance club level. The food prices are very reasonable but the wine prices were exorbitant and by-the-glass choices very limited. You should decide if you want to be bar that also serves food or a fine restaurant that has an attractive bar area.
Early dinner before a show. Food was well prepared, presentation was excellent, and the flavors were interesting and exciting.
