Went for my birthday. Servers were nice. Took a while to get the order in. Three of us ordered caesar salads, two of them with protein and all salads were dry and the third salad with no protein was the size of a half salad for 16$. Way too expensive. I had the margaherita pizza, and it tasted like it was a frozen pizza. Was super bland. Wouldn’t go back
Food was not very good, had to send our steak back because it was literally raw. We came because they were having a derby “party” but there wasn’t really much going on besides a few specials and no one was there. Even with it being slow, took a long time for drinks to come out. Our waitress was very nice though and accommodating.
Some odd food choices were made, like allspice on potatoes. Also, the menu is difficult to read is new. There are some mistakes. Be clear with your waiter about what you want and what you’re getting.
The restaurant is nice and modern and the food is good. The issue was the service was poor with the server disappearing for times on end. The bill came without being requested and the atmosphere was mediocre. Overall not great but not the worst .
So my friend and I went for Dine out boston because we liked the menu. Our complimentary cornbread was bland and not at all sweet, very gritty. We both ordered martinis and they were sticky at the stem—which I expect is happening because the server spilled some as she walked over. After a while of sipping we asked them to be reshaken because one would hope you would get a freshly chilled martini glass when it’s reshaken and…. no, they put it back into the same sticky glass lol. We went there for Valentine's day, the place is alright, service is OK. Our cocktails like French 75 were very poorly made. The food was OK at best while expensive. I wouldn't recommend it. Quality to price ratio is low.
Drinks took forever and came after the appetizers. For sharing, the Brussels sprouts were pretty good as was the French onion soup, though it was light on onions. The crispy duck was cooked nicely, but the glaze was too sweet. The scallops on butternut risotto were overcooked and they risotto was bland. Overall the value just wasn’t there for the high price.
Servers were great, the food was not amazing, however. Was expensive for what tasted like an average meal. Would not go again sadly.
Food was not very good, service was inattentive and formulaic, and noice level so high it was impossible to have conversation.
