Dr. Taka is very confident, gentle, explains things in detail. In the dental chair everything seems to go smoothly. I used to be nervous going to the dentist but with him and his staff I'm finding I'm starting to be able to relax in the chair and not worry about how things are going to go or if there will be unexpected surprises. Getting an injection only stings a bit and way less than anywhere else I've been. I love all the little thoughtful amenities that the clinic has to put you at ease.
My friend recommended Dr. Taka because she had a great experience with her Invisalign. I recently finished my Invisalign too and am very happy with everything. Smooth from start to finish and efficient. He and his staff are experienced and confident and it definitely showed.
The staff are so kind and amazing! I had an emergency and they made sure I got my tooth fixed and Dr. Shaw did an awesome job. Painless and everything looks like brand new. Thanks Lumos!

I started seeing Dr. Taka Shah at Lumos Dental when I moved into the area a few years ago. He and his staff explain everything, give me options and I love how gentle everything is. I nearly fall asleep many times!
Cool tech! Had a broken tooth and got the crown done quickly in one day. Very gentle needle, barely felt anything. Nice area. His staff are very friendly and helpful.
Explains everything well that I haven't found other dentists do in the past and gives me options. Seems to be enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Very friendly staff as well, lots of modern technology.
