What a waste of time! Credit score of 820 house payed off, a healthy W-2 and self employed 1099 over 200K And they were just making every excuse to deny the loan, Very bad experience and customer service.

My an experience was terrible so I DO NOT Recommend!!After approval and a hard credit check ***** came back with a quote of 12.9% APR for 25 years with my FICO score of ****** the end of her spill telling me that APR % she then informed me that ***** will also take an additional $1700 fee that they call a Project Loan on top of the requested amount (which increases the total loan by another $2k). Of course the 12.9% is then applied to that larger amount. Everything they advertise is the opposite of what they honor.
My husband and I applied for a loan for a pool, and Lyon Financial stated we didnt qualify for the military offer because my credit score was below the minimum. I told the woman thats impossible because I track my credit scores. I refused to believe it was as low as she said it is and she *********** expected, I pulled all three credit bureau scores for myself and my scores are well-above the minimum for the military offer and certainly much higher than what she stated it is.When I asked what the military offer was, she refu... read more
A bit disappointed, the application process is fairly simple and we got a quick response. The interest rates however are incredibly higher that we expected almost 15%. I was quoted by 2 other companies for way less. When I called to ask for an explanation they just stated thats the rate for your credit score (almost 700). Would have liked to use them as they cam highly recommended by our pool builder but the rate is just crazy as compared to the other approvals I received.
