Spent $30 on an uber to my appt only to find the colorist extremely uninterested and unenthusiastic about helping to create a plan for my hair color. Very disappointed in the customer service and didn't feel confident putting my hair in her hands.

Worst customer service ever. To the point that it was humiliating. Their colors are good but no business should treat customers this way.

Thought this would be a fun NYC experience while visiting. Not at all. I have never been treated so abruptly in my life. They didn't do anything the welcome email said I could expect. No tips on home coloring. No head message. Very little discussion about what color to use. I felt like I was a terrible inconvenience. @madisonreed 72nd & Columbus has once AGAIN cancelled the blowout portion of my color appointment. This has happened 2x in a row. Both times before an important event. TESS left me a voicemail saying "we're looking forward to having you but someone called out" It's 1hr 15 min before my appt on a Saturday! Where could I land a new appointment now!? I was very unhappy with the colouring of my hair at the 72nd street West side location. The technician person was too lazy to comb through color and had poor customer service skills. Offered me water and 20 minutes later brought me a cup of luke warm water - This was after she walk past me several times munching on a bag of popcorn. I went in. First of all not bright people. Really dumb. I'm sorry but truly I do not say that easily. I honestly don't want to get mean ( too late I guess ) so I'm not going into specifics. It seems to be hit or miss at this salon regarding if you get rude staff. The person who dyed my hair was friendly but the one who washed and blow dried my hair was absolutely not. My roots were done well but balayage is barely visible. Their system for whether you pay for accent vs. partial vs. full balayage is confusing on the site and seems like it doesn't agree with what the stylists are told. I arrived at 1 pm for my appointment at that time. 15 minutes went by and no one had come by to start my color. I asked and was told I would be attended to shortly. The colorist didn't start on my color until a half and hour later (1:30 pm). Now on their website it says to expect 1.5 hours for duration from start to finish.
