First time here at Madison Reed. The salon is super clean & my colorist took care of me right away. I was getting a root touch up and glossing. Weird thing about this place is that every time I get a wash, the shampoo girl always makes me feel like I need upgrade my conditioner "pro boost" each time. It's $12 for a conditioning boost. Is the conditioner they put on not enough. I wonder if she gets a commission.

The girls working there were so nice and full of good energy! The colorist had lots of experience and made sure to listen to me and work with me to find the perfect shade for my natural balayage. The only mistake I made was not doing enough research on my end. Please keep in mind that the "color bar" does not offer extravagant color options, they do not cut/trim hair, and they make you blow dry your own hair and normally I wouldn't have an issue doing so since we all do it at home pretty frequently. i came in and was welcomed and once i was sat they asked what i wanted. i just wanted to dye my hair back to my natural hair color. they were very kind and offered me water, and suggesting great products for my hair which i use now. the place itself also looks really nice, and the assistant was very friendly as well. there's some red left but that's normal, it's rare for red to come out fully and was charged a reasonable amount compare to other salons i've been to.

Coolest place ever! I love the fact they use incremental pricing - allows for those times you may be less 'flush' than others. Excellent service and the colorist was far more careful in her application than others I have encountered. It is a drive for me to get to this, the closest location for me in Phoenix but so worth it. My colorist was terrific and very personable. However, it wasn't the person I had been having do my initial color and roots because she went home early because they were slow. Although the colorist used the formula that was in the record it turned out darker then when I had my roots done 20 days earlier and every 20 days before that back to October. We had discussed that I had wanted to color from the previous session and she assured me that that was what she used but it is clearly darker.
