Horrible results! Color did not take at first attempt. Second attempt, the color was off and my hair has been dry as heck ever since! General manager and staff not as friendly as you'd expect. I REALLY wanted to love this place. It would have been so convenient, but I don't believe their product or service is worthwhile. Would not recommend.

I had a subscription to Madison Reed haircolor and three times the box of haircolor and when I mixed it it turned black and spewed out a horrible rotten egg sulfur smell. Three times in a row. They only refunded me for one. Madison Reed like everything else has gone downhill.

It is normal for color to oxidize and become darker when mixed or occasionally can be colored in the tube as well due to air bubbles being trapped during filling, this has no effect on the efficacy of the color. Madison Reed hair color is formulated without a fragrance, as a result the odor from the ingredients can be exposed as there is nothing to cover them, but you can rest assured your color is still safe to use.
The color came out nice ; if you really want to go all natural color . However Nicole ; she was my stylist ; please avoid her if you want to have good salon experience; she will keep you waiting ; she doesn't wash hair gently nor she knows how to choose the color or blow out properly . I had to literally stop her and ask her to use the appropriate tools in order to blow out . Place is nice ; please bring your own water as this salon have no water . I am so so upset. My colorist moved out of the state and I was in search of a new salon. I decided to try Madison Reed. My colorist was Nicole. we talked for a bit and I talked to her for a bit. I explained to her that I need my roots done and I would like more highlights around my face to match the back. They are understaffed and they overbook. I sat for more than an hour after my color was applied. When I asked if it was bad for my hair to be leaving it in for so long , I was told that the color stops working after 45?minutes so I needn't worry. There was no one free to wash my hair. My colorist worked on two other clients while I waited to be washed. In addition, she needed to greet everyone who came in.

Tried to call because i was running 10 minutes late due to an accident on the road. they didn't pick up and then got there exactly at 5:39 and was told to leave with a rude front desk woman with zero expression on her face. Maybe because we were the only brown people there didn't want to take us. Who knows.
