I went in to try their services and the "first time" customer discount was attractive. The "color expert" did not listen to what I wanted an did the exact opposite. My hair looked like shit an I was shocked at the price, no discount was ffered or given! Buyer beware. I will never return, nor recommend Madison Reed to anyone!!!!

Customer service- none. Went in for a pick up and you'd think people in a business would want to be more helpful or informative about products about service. I got no welcome or help about the product. The lady at the register didn't know how to read a order # and for the price being high for a dye you'd think the professionalism would be top tier too.

Awful Didn't match my color at all. I'm a brunette and I came out with orange roots. Didn't cover my grey AT ALL Don't go!

HORRIBLE experience!!! Do NOT go there for highlights. They only know how to do color - dark color - to cover gray. That is their specialty and that's all they know how to do. They ruined my hair

I wrote a review a year ago and raved about this color bar. Now I'm not such a big fan. Their management, customer service, attitude, and results all have changed and all disappoint. Some exceptions--Bryn I believe her name is--continues to do a fantastic job. I was quite unhappy with my last appointment. I have a subscription and I love the MR color, so I want to continue there. I was running late, and tried to call salon. Phone system didn't work. I apologized for lateness when I arrived, and was told there was a 10 minute grace period. I was prepared to leave, when the colorist said she could still color my hair. She was sloppy and got dye all over my neck, ears, and forehead. I expected colorist to remove dye, but she didn't! Terrible company I would never go to Madison Reed Awful service and products. Made an appointment went there and the girl at the counter computer just gave me the look' what are you doing here? Then she said "someone will be out, girl comes out from the back. Looks at my hair and says I can't do highlights or balayage, Go to ULTA the can do what you are asking. And I did I went to ULTA. Weirdest store I have ever been too. They don't do flash colors or bleach ? So they just dye your hair brown shades or make it glossy?
