MB is a huge facility for assisted living and offers good food and friendly staff and lovely decor. But the memory care unit was a second thought obviously. There was absolutely zero “ Memory Care” when my 90 year old mom was there for a little more than a month. The floors are watched by CNA’s and Med Techs for the most part. When you do have the service of an actual RN or one in training, they did not exhibit an understanding of or training for Dementia. It became apparent after a few short weeks that the care within the memory care unit was substandard. Most caregivers tried hard, but lacked training and leadership. Very unsatisfactory experience.
