Professionalism, support, care superb from start to finish. It took a while to get an initial appointment for an exam which I imagine has to do with the number of patients wanting to see Dr. Maloney. Dr Miyamoto reccommended that I see Dr Maloney. Dr. Maloney was the best doctor. He called me on my way home from the surgery to check on me. My surgery was about 1 hour. I can't wait to have my second eye fixed by Dr Maloney. I can't believe how much I can see. I had contacts in both eyes. Today, I don't wear any contacts or glasses. On August 30th, 2018, I had a DMEK (partial corneal transplant) with Dr. Neda Shamie as my surgeon. Dr. Shamie is an amazingly, incredibly, talented eye surgeon. I am in complete awe at her surgical abilities. And in addition, she is a wonderfully warm and kind-hearted individual, who is dedicated to her work and to her patients. I have upcoming cataract surgery also on my left eye and a partial corneal transplant and cataract surgery on my right eye with Dr. Shamie. I completely trust her ability and her guidance.
