Professionalism, support, care superb from start to finish. It took a while to get an initial appointment for an exam which I imagine has to do with the number of patients wanting to see Dr. Maloney. Dr Miyamoto reccommended that I see Dr Maloney. Dr. Maloney was the best doctor. He called me on my way home from the surgery to check on me. My surgery was about 1 hour. I can't wait to have my second eye fixed by Dr Maloney. I can't believe how much I can see. I had contacts in both eyes. Today, I don't wear any contacts or glasses. On August 30th, 2018, I had a DMEK (partial corneal transplant) with Dr. Neda Shamie as my surgeon. Dr. Shamie is an amazingly, incredibly, talented eye surgeon. I am in complete awe at her surgical abilities. And in addition, she is a wonderfully warm and kind-hearted individual, who is dedicated to her work and to her patients. All Staff members from the front desk, Prep room nurses, surgery rooms and recovery room, they were kind, very friendly, gentle and always asking "how you doing" and etc. Couldn't ask for more. As a physician you are always hesitant to trust someone with your eyes. I did a lot of research and Dr Maloney’s name came up on top of my list of LASIK surgeon a physician can trust. I truly had an amazing experience. Staff is very courteous and follow ups are easy to schedule. Whenever you have questions their highly educated staff will reach out to you within a short time.
