I was very comfortable being a patient oof DR MaloneyÂ
Dr. Shamie was highly recommended by everyone we asked, both physicians and patients. In her office, she greeted me warmly, and was very attentive to my concerns. My cataract surgery was very successful. She is removing my second cataract in a couple of weeks. Dr. Shamie is outstanding and I highly recommend her.Â
I felt from the first consultation that I was with a competent physician and that my cataract surgery would go well. I was put at ease with Dr. Maloney and his whole staff. The very first day after surgery I was amazed how well I could see again. I had the surgery a week ago and so far everything is great. I would highly recommend Dr. Maloney.Â
My experience was incredible. The staff was very friendly, and made sure that they explained every step thoroughly, putting me at ease.One week after the surgery, my eyes are still a little dry, but I can see better than I did with my contact lenses! Definitely one of the best decisions I've ever made :)Â

Without exaggeration, my cataract had caused me to become blind in my left eye. All I could see was light and dark. I elected to have the laser surgery but felt the extra money involved would be money well spent, since my cataract was so dense and I was so blind in that eye. My experience was totally uneventful! The whole experience was seamless. Staff awesome. Dr Maloney, a true gentleman and highly skilled Opthomologist. After 52 years of wearing corrective lenses, I no longer need them! Just call me ole eagle eye!Â
