DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY DO NOT HAVE THEIR ACT TOGETHER!!! Our floor was beautifully installed. However the aggravation that we endured to get to this point is not worth it. First, they scheduled the install once, prior to the hurricane, and canceled. It appears you don't put in negative reviews. Very self serving and not helpful for prospective customers. I have sent in 2 negative reviews and neither was listed. Luckily I saved them and can put them somewhere else.
We left a review, about a month ago, and it was never posted.
We had to wait from the first of November to the middle of the next April to have a 2 hour follow up job done, and we had to pay for it ourselves.
We had work done over the summer and paid for it. When we returned in November and found that some things were wrong we contacted Manasota. They acknowledged some of the errors a said they would be completed as the contract stated. We had to wait until March to get in writing what would be done. Even that required money up front. The guy who came out to lay the tile broke a piece and couldn't complete the job. That was around the end of January. We waited for about 3 weeks and didn't hear a thing from the tile shop. We finally called and the manager said he didn't know anything about the situation. If you're the manager, shouldn't you know that a job wasn't finished and you haven't been paid??? November 16, 2020 start day. Project is on 11th day. Installers did not return for 2 days for no reason. Will not be finished until day 15. This was a 4 room job. One room we prepared ourselves. On site supervisor did not come on the job but one time. The company supervisor over the crew had to stay in touch. The installer team of two were very hard workers and did quality job. Timeline too long to complete. Household has been disrupted over 2 weeks. Will not rehire Manasota Flooring to do rest of the house.
I was in the Sarasota store last week shopping for bedroom carpeting. I was ready to buy and needed to make a decision. When I entered the store I was greeted by a friendly woman who showed me some samples that I liked. Realizing that I was going to be there for a little while, I asked her if she had a mask. She wasn't wearing one. She replied proudly, "I don't have a mask." I immediately left. Im sad to inform you that one of Manasota Flooring's employees, Michael Benson, is targetting women who stand for Black Lives Matter. Publicly demeaning, threatening & harassing them. He has threatened to blow women's heads off, called woman n***** loving wh*res, etc. That is completely unacceptable and as a woman, I would never shop here knowing this. Please if youre a person of color, stay away!
