I’ve been seeing Dr. Sonenshine for about 3 years now and hands down, he is one of the best doctors out there. He is always punctual, attentive, and pleasant to deal with. He takes the time to engage with the patient and hears their concerns and lay out a plan of attack. I’ve referred fiends and family and they never come back disappointed.

I moved here in Aug 2015 from NY after being diagnosed with UC in Aug 2014. Dr. Sonenshine was recommended to me by a relative. My experience with him has been fantastic. In NY, I had tried 3 different gastros and none of them really took the time to discuss anything with me. Mark was entirely different. We have had open and clear dialogue from day 1. He has been very quick to respond to any questions or requests through the patient portal (even on the weekend.) I would recommend him to everyone

Dr Sonenshine is one of the most attentive and caring doctor's I have ever met. He made extra steps trying to figure out what causes certain symptoms. A friend referred him to me and I referred him to another friend. We all feel his is fantastic.
I’ve been very fortunate to be a Chrons patient of Dr. Sonenshine for four years. He always explains all the treatments and options available and asks for my opinion. There is never a time limit during my appointment. He is knowledgeable, through and compassionate.
After a weekend trip to the ER, I was advised to see a GI doctor to address abdominal pain. This was my first time seeing Dr. Sonenshine and I was extremely impressed. He listened intently, took copious notes, and provided a detailed explanation of what he believed was transpiring. He immediately got me scheduled for HIDA and EGD tests over the next two days and got me in to a surgeon for a second opinion. Dr. Sonenshine was extremely thorough, and his follow up was second to none.
Dr. Sonenshine is so attentive, thorough, nice, and easy to get an appointment with. He is a wonderful practitioner with wonderful bedside manner.
