They should stick behind their services and warranty that they give you, but they don't. They just want to charge you more exhorbant prices to fix what they broke. After having paid thousands to replace all the plumbing in the house, they didn't fix one of the main issues of my washer being clogged in the drain pipe. When you advertise 24/7 emergency HVAC service and I call at 8 PM on a Saturday evening to tell you that my 76-year-old mother’s house is dreadfully hot and the air-conditioning is out I shouldn’t get a woman with a snide attitude telling me that they do not have an on-call heating and air-conditioning technician. This company is horrible. Your after hours worker cursed at me in my home in front of my children, disrespected me and made fun of me. I was not given an invoice. I cancelled the camera inspection because I didn’t want your foul mouthed disrespectful workers in my home again. Now less than 2 months after your “repairs,” my house is flooding again. Way too expensive! $276 for one hour work during normal business hours. Supplies under $30. There is no way labor should be that high. The plumber said that Mastertech is a flat rate shop. If that is so, he based his estimate on tasks we didn’t ask him to do. I could have done all of the work in less than an hour if I had the time.
I will never call or use master tech again. Was quoted 580 bucks (I had to go buy parts for them to put in) for a shower head and knob replacement. They came out to my house (55 bucks later) to tell me I’ll need to come up with the money and to give them a call when I do. I thought that was kinda odd for minor work. I was going to write about my experiences with MasterTech Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling but decided the company isn't worth the time and effort. I would not recommend them to anyone.
Overall mediocre service, disappointing support and pricing. CJ originally diagnosed issue as a faulty blower motor assembly unit, which was the correct diagnosis. He estimated the work to cost $1100. For some reason they weren't able to break that down in even it's simplest form; parts vs. labor (Just FYI the part is $200 and the amount of time it took me, a novice, to replace was about 30 minutes...) He was nice but took forever to figure out it was a bad gas valve and had to call and wait for a return call to see if a universal would work. It fired up when he was here then later that night it quit working. I’m giving you all one more shot and I’m calling another company.
Just now One of your trucks just about caused a wreck on I 70 they pulled right out in front of us..he’s not using any blinkers at all he’s weaving in and out of traffic driving about 85!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope the cops get him.
