Dr. Jaycox and his team are, initially, very intense, but in a good way. After literally years of pain, battling serious autoimmune disorders, etc. I finally felt listened to, and given the HIGHEST level of treatment available. It felt world class in every aspect from decision making, description of procedures, plan of care. While some may feel as though having a team of residents in tow to be invasive, my husband and I felt as though the group thinking only inhanced the dynamic of care.
Overall he is a great doctor however the mri done in sept went unnoticed . The results were abnormal and no one addressed my concerns . He did write a referral but it turns out it wasn’t correct specialty . Then he didn’t make any “plan” because he wasn’t the original dr to see me . The wait time for return appointment which should be in 2 weeks is over a month away. Still no plan still no real result . The Dr did explain the pain pump very well but again felt like I wasn’t his patient . Very disappointing visit .
Regularly runs behind over one hour. Last week I waited over 2 hours for a scheduled appointment . There was an open revolt in the waiting room with people being re-scheduled after traveling to get in , pay for parking and waiting for over an hour. This is not a one off incident. It is a regular occurrence. Be aware and schedule your day accordingly if you have the patience for this. There is no reason why they can't text or call their patients ahead of time. Unconscionable ! I am a care giver for another patient - this visi... read more
His assistant was more helpful than he was
This doctor's staff is beyond incompetent. They ignore your phone calls they never answer the phone. If and when they answer the phone they are nothing but rude. This doctor used to be nice but he has changed. He's not the kind caring physician that he once was. He is very pompous rude and arrogant. He doesn't listen to the patient he couldn't care less about my health concerns. And his staff is among the worst staff I have ever come across in my life! They too are arrogant and rude especially to people with serious chronic ... read more
Dr Jaycox is all about the money. If you are a moneymaker he's for you . Otherwise, you're unimportant. His staff is terrible, rude, and incompetent.
He didn’t want to listen - yelled at me to just answer the question, later told me to stop looking at my notes, chastised me for not going to a pain center sooner. Got up and walked out of the room at one point for no known reason when I was mid sentence. Gave me a sheet of paper with a procedure and told me I could look it up and could do it or not and left. Never explained my diagnosis, various treatment options, why he chose that procedure or what I could do if I didn’t want to have an invasive procedure. I called the off... read more
Rude, arrogant, disrespectful and unprofessional.
On average I've waited 60-90 minutes to be seen by doctor Jaycox and then when I do finally see him he stays in the room for less than 5 minutes. On top of that, their online systems don't integrate with rush and don't work well. Don't waste your time.
