HE WAS PROFESSIONAL, DID A GREAT JOB STITCHING MY EYELID LEAVING ONLY A FAINT SCAR. GREAT F/U
I was referred to Dr. McCracken for a consultation for a clogged tear duct. A nurse/PA on staff took my initial information and left me in an examination room. I waited in that room for almost 40 minutes; no one came in to give me an update on the delay. Dr McCracken had a very poor and self-rightous bedside manner with me. He didn't want to explain anything or answer anything more than very basic questions, saying all he was, was a stitch doctor. He insisted he HAD to put 2 stitches in my eyelid and wanted to leave that there for at least 6 to 12 months. IF I had listened to him, then I may have had to get him to re-open my eyelid to look normal. I went to another dr. team and they said the stitches should not have been done and removed them. Dr. McCracken is never in the office. All of his kits and procedures are based around companies that he's partnered with regardless of their effectiveness. He's partnered with the owner of the Eclipse PRP injection kit despite the fact that the kit simply does not work. The staff knows what they're doing but the practice itself is a racket. Go to another cosmetic surgeon.
I had a horrible experience with the entire team especially the front desk. They were rude and very unhelpful. If he messes up the procedure like he did with me then definitely do not expect them to care or help out. They will blame you! Terrible communication skills and bad medical decisions. I would encourage a potentional patient to find someone else!
